Teams and Transformation: New Leadership for a Complex World
Ruth Wageman is one of the foremost scholars studying and working with teams, especially leadership teams. Ruth’s research, teaching, and practice are focused on the conditions that influence superb team performance. Ruth works with teams whose purpose is to solve complex problems and lead system transformation. Ruth has been a professor at Columbia, Dartmouth, and Harvard, where she has led many original research programs. Ruth designed the Team Diagnostic Survey with Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman. TDS is a powerful, well-validated assessment that measures how well six conditions that drive effectiveness are established for a team. At 6 Team Conditions, Ruth builds collaborative leadership capacity within and across organizations. She also leads accreditation workshops and teaches team development professionals how to use the instrument and framework in their practice.
